Since its origins in 1985, Café Britt has been recognized as a company with a highly responsible business model. We work to preserve the environment and ensure the sustainable development of our communities and well as micro, small and medium-sized growers and suppliers.

The principles of transparency and ethics are the foundation for everything we do.

Café Britt dedicates hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to Social Responsibility projects focused on:

• Sustainable Fair Trade practices: Working hand in hand with small farms and their communities through educational projects on sustainable growing practices.
• Micro, small and medium-sized producers: Reaching more than 100 artisans who provide jobs for more than 1,000 craftsmen and women.
• Environmental conservation: Establishing corporate leadership in environmental protection and preserving biodiversity.
• Communities and Education: Supporting schools and educational programs that benefit more than 550 students in our communities.
• Cultural preservation: Promoting each country's heritage and local crafts through our retails stores which allow small artisans to export their beautiful creations.
• Governance and Integrity: Executing all initiatives with a responsible business conduct as stated on our Code of Ethics
